TFFH secures first floor apartment

We learned that having our apartment on the second-floor created problems for our residents, because in some cases, they simply cannot manage stairs, either because they are too weak, or are in a wheelchair.  TFFH was able to negotiate a new lease for a first-floor apartment.  On April 14th, we successfully moved both our current resident and the apartment contents, with little disruption to the resident.  This was due to all the wonderful volunteers who showed up to move everything.  We succeeded in moving all the contents while our tenant was at MDACC receiving treatment.
