Texas Fire Fighters Home Celebrates Its 7th Apartment
At Texas Fire Fighters Home, every apartment represents more than a roof and four walls. It represents relief during a difficult season, dignity during medical treatment, and the reassurance that no firefighter or first responder has to face hardship alone.
We are proud to announce the opening of our 7th Texas Fire Fighters Home apartment, expanding our ability to serve firefighters, first responders, and their families who come to the Texas Medical Center for critical medical care. To celebrate this milestone, we invite our community to join us for a special Open House on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 4:00–7:00 PM at 2222 Maroneal Street, Houston, TX.

Firefighters and first responders spend their careers answering the call—often at great personal cost. When serious illness or injury requires extended treatment away from home, housing should not be an added burden.
That’s why Texas Fire Fighters Home exists.
Our apartments provide short-term, low-cost housing just minutes from the Texas Medical Center, allowing families to stay close, reduce financial strain, and focus on healing. With this 7th apartment, we are able to say “yes” to even more heroes in their time of need.
This growth is only possible because of generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and unwavering community support. Every contribution—financial or otherwise—directly impacts the lives of those who have spent their lives protecting others.
